Irene Chidongo (nee Kamhuka) was born and educated in Zimbabwe.
She has recently joined as a member of Zimhealth. Irene is based in the UK and holds a Masters degree in Social Work. Prior to coming the UK Irene worked as a Private Secretary at Chinhoyi University of Technology for 9 nine years. She then moved to Harare and worked at Parirenyatwa Hospital as an Administrator for Zimbabwe National Quality Assurance Programme (ZINQAP) where the current
Minister of Health, Dr Obediah Moyo was the Chairman.
On qualifying as a Social Worker in the UK, Irene has worked in the National Health Service (NHS) in different hospitals for a total of 14 years in the area of hospital discharges. It is against this background that Irene feels she can play a part in improving the health system in our country in terms of service delivery and customer care.
