Ian was a founding member of ZimHealth eleven years ago. For several years he has served as Deputy Treasurer and often visited ZimHealth projects in order to liaise and report back to the Executive Committee in Geneva.
Ian is a retired educational administrator. After a first Licence ès Lettres degree at Geneva University, followed by a Masters in Ed. Admin he taught in Scotland, at Peterhouse in Marondera and was then appointed Principal at Collège du Léman in Versoix. Meantime, he has pursued his lifelong passion for cattle breeding: during a semester sabbatical from school teaching he worked at Cambridge University veterinary
school, learning embryo transfer techniques.
It is his firm belief that the diaspora should play a significant rôle in a vibrant new Zimbabwe. Using our experience and network within the international community, ZimHealth members are committed to contribute towards the renewal of health facilities and the wellbeing of our fellow countrymen and women.
