Bongani was born in Zimbabwe, educated in Paris and has been a member of ZimHealth since 2015, serving in various roles including his current role as the Publicity and Communications Chair.

Bongani is an experienced Software Engineer, writer and activist, currently working as a Design Lead at a Tier 1 automotive supplier in France. He believes in the immense power of the written word to shape the flow of imagination — and from it, the world beyond. He has trained students in community activism, communication, speech writing and Paris-style debate. He has also represented the voice of African youth before business and political leaders at the World Economic Forum as part of his work with the British Council.

Bongani’s vision is to ensure that no Zimbabwean is ever denied their human right of access to healthcare and that all health institutions, whether in urban or rural settings, are able to offer the citizens and residents of Zimbabwe, the highest attainable standard of physical and
mental health services.
