Bongani was born in Zimbabwe and has been a member of ZimHealth since 2015, serving as the Publicity and Communications Chair.

Bongani works as the Software Lead for a French startup in the Greater Geneva area and is a Software Engineer by profession. His passion for technology is only matched by his passion for words which he has cultivated over the past 15 years as a debater, public speaker, and writer. In 2009 he was selected as a British Council Global Changemaker and worked for several years in several African countries and South East Asia to promote activism and advocacy for and by the youth.

Bongani’s vision is to ensure that no Zimbabwean is ever denied their human right of access to healthcare and that all health institutions, whether in urban or rural settings, are able to offer the citizens and residents of Zimbabwe, the highest attainable standard of physical and
mental health services.
