I am a Chartered Electrical Engineer (Member of Institute of Electrical Technology, IET) and a Fellow of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM).
I have led large infrastructure projects in the United Kingdom, (new 500 bed District General Hospital) and several smaller health facility projects, including Imaging, Outpatients and Accident and Emergency departments. I have managed the Operation and Maintenance
services within the Health sector, both in the United Kingdom and in the Middle East.
I started my professional career in the manufacturing and production industries, in Zimbabwe, Africa.
I have a strong interest in the development of Zimbabwe, and in particular, I am keen to use my skills to contribute and support investment and development within the Healthcare sector. I am working with the Zimbabwe Network for Health – Europe, to progress the establishment of a Chapter of the Network in the UK.
I was born and raised in Zimbabwe, and have family and friends resident in the Country. I am married and live in the UK, with 3 children at University, both in the UK and abroad.
