Batsirai Majuru: Treasurer

Batsi has been a member of ZimHealth since 2014, and currently serves as Treasurer.

Batsi is a public health professional with expertise in water quality and health, and received her PhD from the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom. She works in the Water, Sanitation, Hygiene and Health unit at the World Health Organization (WHO) headquarters in Switzerland.

Her passion for public health traces back to her high school and university days: whether as a youth peer educator on HIV prevention, or a volunteer in the campus clinic, Batsi has always been rallying the public health cause.

Ian was a founding member of ZimHealth eleven years ago. For several years he has served as Deputy Treasurer and often visited ZimHealth projects in order to liaise and report back to the Executive Committee in Geneva.
