Zimbabwe Network for Health – Europe

Goal

The goal of ZimHealth is to rehabilitate, support and sustain the public health service delivery in Zimbabwe especially to vulnerable mothers and children

Strategic Objectives

To inform, educate, communicate and mobilize on the status and the needs of the Zimbabwe public health delivery system to all Zimbabweans in Switzerland, Europe and worldwide
To raise funds and other materials in Switzerland, Europe and globally from individuals, civil society, national and international bilateral and multilateral institutions and support public- private partnerships.
Distribute equitably funds and materials to health services in all provinces and districts of Zimbabwe.

Strategic Intervention areas

• Advocacy, communication, and catalysing support for Zimbabwe public health system

• Replacement of essential medical and other equipment in public health facilities

• Renovation and rehabilitation and expansion of public health infrastructure

• Support for Infection control and water and sanitation for public health facilities

• Support use of renewable energy and nutrition projects in public health facilities

• Support for Zimbabwe health work force development with special focus on international exposure and partnership
